Ode to Mtv.com
I guess I never visited the website enough to notice that they keep almost every show they’ve ever made for me to watch whenever my heart desires.
That being said, I decided on Laguna Beach season 3 (the worst season, I know. 2 was by far the best. I don’t even need to mention the Jessica/Jason fight that pretty much goes Jess: Whats wrong? Jason: You tell me. Jess: If I knew I wouldn’t be asking. Jason: Everything is fine. Then they proceed to make out passionately). Anyway, did not mean to go on a tangent. Season 3 really doen’t hold a candle, but it does include one of my favorite emo moments.
Raquel “Rocky” strolls on the beach to meet her soon to be Ex-BF, Alex, looking like my grandma dressed in a royal blue Juicy jumpsuit. “Why are you wearing all blue?” (one of my fav quotes that I say all the time, to people who more often then not, aren’t wearing ANY blue). To which Rocky responds, ”because it’s comfy”. More like, I’m a sad miserable wreck and I wear color to reflect my mood!!!! If only they’d played some daft punk to compliment her outfit as they cut to a commerical.
I love watching this. Is it sad that I literally just said to myself afer pouring my 3rd glass of wine, “I’m having the best time ever!”?
Maybe. Who cares? I love Laguna Beach (and myself) and that is all that matters.
